Gear Patrol Collaborations

While at Gear Patrol, I learned that one way to create passionate audience awareness was through the power of licensing and co-branded collaborations. I identified brands with complementary values: high design, focused quality, and purposeful functionality, to create new products with a GP spin. The release of these collabs created fresh buzz, new fans, and powerful, ongoing partnerships. The collaborations became the backbone of multiple digital and IRL activations among Gear Patrol audiences. News of the collabs found its way onto podcasts, in other publications, into pop-ups, and across social. They quickly became physical mementos of fans’ enthusiasm around the brand. These weren’t just swag, they were marketing vehicles that left exponential impressions across our audience’s own networks.

These collabs also became the backbone of Gear Patrol’s Brooklyn based Holiday Pop-Up. I led the team on this project as well as located the venue, oversaw the branding, handled the sponsors, and concepted programming.
