One of my favorite achievements while working with Watchonista was centered on the work we did with the classic German watchmaker Glashütte Original. They loved a holiday gift guide concept I crafted for them, which in turn led them to offer up an exclusive branded content opportunity around a new, beautiful, green dialed version of their very successful dive watch called the SeaQ.

Bi-coastal Production

Two coasts. Two crews. One watch. I had the pleasure of concepting and producing a transcontinental experiment in the versatility of the watch. I wanted to explore two different locations with two very different vehicles to demo how this watch fits squarely into any adventure.

East Coast, on-track.

The first stop on this bi-coastal production was on the autocross course at the legendary Lime Rock Park. The goal was to showcase this watch as a perfect driving partner for a weekend in the twisties.

West Coast, on-trail.

I took this watch from coast to coast for the next installment in the series, working with a California-based production team to juxtapose this same watch in a stylish, gravel bike environment.

Behind the scenes.

You’re only as good as your production partners and I had amazing squads on both coasts. They were able to execute my vision with both style and precision.

I was also thrilled that the articles and stills accompanying these videos were combined and included in Watchonista’s first printed magazine.
